Beautiful custom 3D wooden art featuring the birth flowers of your children or grandchildren. Each flower is individually designed, hand‑carved from MDF, and hand‑painted. You can choose specific colours for each flower or simply provide a tone range (e.g., pinks, purples and whites).

The finished bouquet is mounted on your choice of 9mm ply (stained) or 9mm MDF (painted) and framed in pine, which can also be stained or painted to suit your style.

Every piece is made to order with multiple handcrafted steps, so please allow 3–4 weeks for creation and delivery.

Timeframe Expectations

Our 3D art pieces involve multiple stages - design, carving, sanding, painting, assembly, and framing. Each artwork takes many hours to complete, ensuring a high‑quality finish. Please allow 3–4 weeks for creation and delivery from the time your order is placed.

What’s the best way to display your products on a wall?
For easy and secure wall application, we recommend using 3M Picture Hanging Strips (not included). They offer a damage-free solution that works well on most wall surfaces.

Can I request a custom colour?
We stock a selection of our most popular colours, but we’re happy to accommodate custom requests where possible. Feel free to reach out to us at hello@whimsylane.co.nz and we’ll do our best to help!

What are your products made from?
We use only high-quality materials sourced from trusted local NZ suppliers to ensure every product is durable, beautifully finished, and made to last.

  • Wooden Products: Our painted wooden items are made from MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), this provides a smooth finish and strength—perfect for painted and decorative pieces.
  • Acrylic Products: Our acrylic products are made from premium cast acrylic. This material is super durable and made to last.
  • Decals: Decals are made from high-quality vinyl, designed to be removable, wall-safe, and long-lasting for easy, damage-free decorating.

We’re committed to delivering products that not only look great but also stand the test of time.

Where are they made and shipped from?
All our products are proudly designed and made in New Zealand, shipped directly from Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.

How long does it take to ship my order?
Since all our products are made to order to ensure top quality and variety, we aim to ship orders within 2-4 business days. We don’t ship painted items same day as they require slightly more time to ensure paint is fully cured prior to shipping.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
As the majority of our items are custom, and all of our products are made to order, we cannot offer returns or exchanges unless the product is faulty. If you have any issues, please contact us at hello@whimsylane.co.nz, and we’ll be happy to assist.
